Description
Located near the airport in Warsaw, the Hotel Gromada Airport is one of the largest conference complexes in Poland. High-quality equipment and facilities designed in accordance with the latest trends, create elegant and functional environment for both business and leisure stay. The business guests will find not only the modern accommodation facilities and restaurants, but also multi-purpose conference space on 3 levels.
The hotel consists of two parts: the old part from 1994 (renovated in recent years) and a new hotel built in 2002.
Rooms
The hotel offers 352 rooms in total.
The rooms have bathroom, satellite TV, pay TV, telephone, free wireless Internet access, complimentary mineral water.
Guests can choose the standard economy rooms, where the choice is 12 single rooms and 49 twin rooms (two separate beds).
The hotel also has 56 standard double rooms and 12 suites.
The rooms have two single beds with the possibility of joining it for single use.
Standard Plus rooms are additionally equipped with air conditioning.
Guests are provided with 20 single rooms, 85 double rooms ( Two separate beds with the possibility of joining for single use), 95 double rooms
(double bed) and 17 suites.
The hotel has also a presidential suite.
Restaurant
The Bakata restaurant and Drink Bar invites guests to savor delicious Polish cuisine and original international dishes.
Summer garden with the famous bread oven is an ideal place for organizations integrating corporate meetings and other events in the surrounding of greenery.
Conference rooms
The Gromada Airport Hotel *** has 15 function rooms, spread over three levels with a total area of 6000m2 for 5000 participants. In addition, in the level II and III there are 10 business rooms, ideal to host small meetings and workshops. Conference rooms are air conditioned and equipped with a sound system and sliding walls.
In addition the hotel also offers the reception area 400m2 outdoor terrace.
The hotel also organizes banquets and themed events such as Latin, gypsy, and outdoor events, family celebrations and more.

Location
The Hotel is situated in the downtown Warsaw. Its location near important institutions, shopping centres as well as science and cultural centres gives the opportunity to combine business affairs with sightseeing of the capital of Poland. Close to the Hotel there are following touristic atractions: the Old Town, the Royal Castle, the National Museum.
Rooms Description
Having come to the Gromada hotel, the guests can choose whether to stay in the newly renovated part of the hotel or in the new one.
Altogether, there are 300 rooms of various types - singles, doubles, suites and recently designed, modern family rooms. In our opinion the standard of the hotel’s interiors is somewhere between 2,5 and 3 stars.
In Gromada hotel the guests is free to choose not only the type of the room, but also its standard. According to your needs and budget there are economic, tourist, standard and standard plus rooms available. The economic rooms are typical singles.
All the rooms are equipped with telephone, radio, modem Internet access, TV-sat and pay-TV (the charge is about 50PLN).
In the bathrooms of standard and standard plus rooms there are shower cabins, in economic rooms there are bathtubs which seem to be a little narrow.
I think that it is worth paying a little more for the room and stay in more comfortable interiors offered by standard plus rooms located in the new wing of the hotel. Apart from the fresh and modern looks the new part of the hotel has other advantages such as air-conditioning, family rooms and fast Internet connection. The rooms there are also much bigger.
In the new part of the Gromada Hotel, there are two rooms designed to meet the needs of the disabled.
There is a special driveway leading to the hotel’s entrance, the lifts inside the building take guests to the upper floors of the hotel. Guests in wheelchairs will not have any problems with access to the conference rooms or the underground restaurant either - the lifts will take them anywhere.
The Room Service is theoretically available till midnight; however I would suggest taking care of the matters concerning it till 10pm.
Restaurant Description
In Gromada Hotel, there are several "culinary" possibilities - two restaurants, drink bar and a summer-garden on the patio.
Basically, the menu is the same in both restaurants. The question is whether you want to have your meal in a regular, however modern interiors or in a rustic-style restaurant. The latter has a more private atmosphere. It is designed for up to 50 people. It is more interesting, every detail of the décor is filled with folklore. Everything around is made of wood. You can enjoy your meal surrounded by typically rustic instruments, accessories and decorations.
If you have a feeling that you might not enjoy sitting on a wooden bench that may be a little hard you can always taste the same meals in the other restaurant room.
The menu consists in a lot of meals from the international cuisine and naturally a wide choice of meals from the traditional Polish cuisine. As far as the local delicacies are concerned I suggest trying pork shank rustic way with peas and potatoes.
You can spend long hours in Gromada having a drink. The drink bar is open till 2am. and offers spending time over a cup of coffee or e.g. over a mug of beer watching television or chatting with your friends. The drink bar itself is rather small and unfortunately not so cozy as you could be expecting.
The returning visitors to Gromada praise the hotel for the well-organized dancings.
On warm days you can rest over coffee on the patio hidden from the city noise.
